The first production plant of the European Van Company is situated in Brugge (North-West Belgium) where a dynamic team of 120 employees and workers are manufacturing the aluminium and curtainsider truck body kits and boxes.
The actual production plant in Brugge is in use by Aluvan since 1985

The European Van Company Sp. z o.o. in Konskie (PL)
In 1997 a building is bought in the south east of Poland (the most central place for the Central European markets at that time)and a completely new factory is installed for the production of the aluminium truck body kits (sold under the brand Aluvan). This new capacity was needed in order to service these "local"Central European countries.
The ample space offered by the company buildings in Konskie enabled us to start-up the production of the PolyPan composite panels and the PolyVan truck body kits and boxes for cooled transport.
More than 350 workers and employees in the Konskie area in charge of the production of our famous brand products.
This site became specialised transformer of unsaturated polyester resin too and applies following technologies :
- wet-on-wet production of panels
- glued production of panels
- closed mould technique RTM
- hand lay-up

The European Van Company Ltd in Stockport (UK)
In 2004 The European Van Company acquired the production activities of the James and Bloom roller shutters in Stockport. Also a wide range of truck body components like roofs, bulk heads, side and rear frames ... are offered by this British production plant.
Shortly after having acquired James & Bloom, the group introduces a major product development and enables JBL to start an impressive growth in the UK but also in Continental Europe.

The European Van Company SARL in Mâcon (F)
In 2007 a brandnew factory is bought in Mâcon, in the heart of the Burgundy area, where the production of dry freight bodies is organised for the French and southern European countries. France is known as an important and demanding truck body kit market. Becoming local here will help the group to rise it's local market share by reducing delivery times as requested by the French bodybuilders.
The European Van Company GmbH in Duingen (D)
The holding Alvan BVBA controlling the group of companies of "The European Van Company" has taken full control of the Isometall activties. Isometall manufactures in Duingen (near Hannover) since more than 15 years sandwich panels with metal surfaces on the basis of the technique of PU foam injection. These sandwich panels with a metallic external surface are a very interesting expansion of the already wide range of Polypan products. .
The European Van Company SARL in Spain (E)
Alvan (the owner of The European Van Company) takes over 100% of the shares of the Spanish company Panelados Gonsalvo specialised in manufacturing sandwich panels and dry freight kits. This take over will help Panelados to stand the international competition for the next decades and develop a very appropriate strategy for the markets in Spain and Portugal
A very special effort will been made towards rising the quality of the panels and the industrialisation of the processes
